Magazines

1.)Early Magazine Covers-In the 1700s the magazines were different because they only had an opening page to a title and a table of contents. They use to model them after the cover of books then cover lines began to appear within such generic covers in the 1800s.

2.)The Poster Cover-The covers that they made were looked as if they were printed to be framed and to hang it on the wall it did not look like if it wasnt going to be a magazine. The magazine have traveled far from all the visual art poster.

3.)Pictures Married To Type-On magazines when cover lines appear  it does not come out as good as you want it to come out. Most of the cover lines on the magazines identify the names of contributors and not the topic of the article.

4.)In the Forest Of Words-Some of the magazine covers of this period contain cover lines that are actually larger than the name of the magazine and a really powerful pictures rarely enough For the covers of this period.Posters covers appeared mainly on music magazines.

Sports Illustrated, July 25, 2011:"Hope Solo"
"Heart and Heartbreak" describes the U.S. women's national team's performance at the 2011 Women's World Cup, where they came back in stunning fashion versus Brazil in the quaterfinals before twice surrendering leads against Japan in an epic final. "The U.S. had just lost one of the greatest games ever played, and the emotions of that are complicated," says editor Terry McDonell. "It's reflected in the cover shot of Hope Solo, a nuanced mix of sadness and courage. She is looking back, thinking what might have been, but she is also looking to the future,"

I like this one because its about soccer and i like soccer and i also chosed this one because the girls team went to the world cup but the sad part was that they lost it and it was one of the most important game that they lost.I like the tite of it because it says heart and heartbreak.
